My daughter keeps trying to download apps, which I am supposed to be receiving a notification in order to approve it so that she can actually download the requested app, but I never receive the notifications anymore. I haven’t for months now. It used to work no problems when we first got our phones, but now I have to approve them straight from her phone because I never receive anything. They are not in my Notification Center either. She is on my family sharing as well. I’m able to limit her screen time and everything if needed, but no request for app approval comes to my phone.

This could be related to the Apple ID being used. There is also a possibility that a setting needs to be changed. This article will walk you through checking the Apple ID that you're using for purchases, and how to review your Family Sharing settings: If Ask to Buy isn't working.

App Store Request to download My daughters phone is connected to mine under Family in my settings. She needs my permission to download apps from App Store. However when she presses “Ask”, my phone isn’t getting notifications to approve it. Any idea’s!
